Step 1: Prepare the base
Most outdoor applications require preparation of an aggregate base to allow proper water drainage. Simply clear the surface where your artificial grass will be placed, removing any unwanted grass and roots.
Step 2: Compacting base
Once clear, add a two to four-inch layer of crushed aggregate until achieving the desired shape and contour. Work the aggregate with a rake and hand tamp until the surface is compact and smooth.
Step 3. Apply drainage membrane
Once the base is compacted, apply drainage membrane to the area . Trim off any waste membrane from the edges.Secure seams with U-nails to secure a-joining sections of the membrane. Apply as necessary to anchor the membrane and prevent movement when laying the synthetic lawn.
Step 4 .Unroll the artificial turf over the area and trimming
being careful to not move the weed membrane. Running the product toward the house will give the best look from the windows of the house. Once positioned, trim the excess artificial grass. Edging gives you a useful edge to run your knife around.
Step 5. Glue together seams
To seam artificial turf together, align two pieces of LuxGrass edge-to-edge. Fold back the edges to lay artificial grass seaming cloth the length of the seam and then brush the glue.
Step 6. Secure in place
To secure your LuxGrass, use five to six-inch galvanized nails or landscape anchor pinsaround the perimeter and where necessary to keep your Grass flat.
Step 7. Infill the sand and Brush grass
Every square meter grass infill about 5 kg silica sand.
Finally. Use a landscape rake or broom to brush the fibers up and rinse with a garden hose. Periodic brushing and rinsing will keep your grass looking fresh, natural and beautiful for years to come.
